Abstract

An exploration of the artist, color theorist, and educator Josef Albers' seminal work, "Interaction of Color", published by Yale University Press in 1963. An analysis of Albers' experimental teaching methods and empirical understanding of color relationships as directly reflective of what we know today regarding the functional neuroscience of colour vision in the brain, based largely upon recent decades of work led by pioneering neuroscientist Dr. Semir Zeki of University College London.
